Buying Social Justice?
This chapter explores the pros and cons of the use of procurement linkages to advance status equality, from an economic and political perspective initially. It considers arguments for and against linkage. It argues that whether one considers procurement linkages beneficial or not depends on how procurement linkages work out in practice, but that the potential for benefits to accrue from such linkages is worth experimentation and engagement.
