Conclusions: The Genesis of a Saga Narrative
This chapter sums up the key findings of this study on the relationship between the verse and the prose of the Kormáks saga and on the origins of its narrative. It suggests that despite the existence of some variant versions of major events in the saga's narrative, the relationship between Kormákr's character and the saga's supernatural manifestations create a strong central core. It compares the saga to other epitome narratives and contends that the saga's overall structure was designed deliberately by the author.
