Cancers of the Colon and Rectum
This chapter reviews the epidemiology of colorectal cancer, focusing on adenocarcinomas, which comprise the vast majority of the cases. The etiologies of colon and rectal cancer overlap, but the differences between the two will be addressed when relevant.
