Negotiations Continue
This chapter discusses the manufacturers' formation of a deputation to continue the negotiation with the British Post Office for the founding of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC). The meeting between Post Office Secretary Sir Evelyn Murray and the deputation centred on protection against foreign competition, the structure and organization of the broadcasting company to be formed. This chapter highlights the conflict between, and financing. This chapter also mentions the conflict between Archibald McKinstry and Godfrey Isaacs on the issue of forming two broadcasting groups in London.
