Abstract: This Conlusion sums up the discussions in the preceeding chapters and analyses what the book has achieved in its discussions. Ethos played an important role in almost every aspect of the Oxford Movement. Its influence, though normally hidden below the surface, can be detected in a multitude of ways at all times. Keywords: ethos, Oxford Movement, Evangelicals, Tractarianism,
