Abstract: Revelation from God and other spirit beings is a central element in the doctrine and life of the Unification Church. This essay examines the changing patterns of revelation in the history of this new religion, paying particular attention to recent and significant developments in the unfolding of revelation to its founder Reverend Sun Myung Moon. These changes have made the nature and style of Unification doctrine and experience more concrete, explicit, and also more problematic.
