Abstract: Defends the view that for the evaluation of a subjunctive conditional, the closeness of an antecedent world depends upon how much it resembles the actual world up to the time of the antecedent. Keywords: antecedent, conditionals, excluded middle, indeterminism, subjunctive conditionals,
