The essays illustrate Paul Horwich’s deflationary perspective on the nature of truth, realism vs antirealism, the creation of meaning, epistemic rationality, the conceptual role of ‘ought,’ probabilistic models of scientific reasoning, and the trajectory of Wittgenstein’s philosophy.
