Abstract: Frank Jackson investigates the theoretical commitments of certain stances about semantics as far as they shed light on the dispute between meaning-based and non-meaning-based approaches to explaining apriority. Jackson argues generally that anyone who agrees that sentences have representational content and who is not a sceptic should accept that there are a priori truths that outrun the logical truths.
