Paul Helm
The chapter is concerned with the consistency of timeless eternity, omniscience, and immutability. Arguments from certain kinds of proposition and an attempted reductio ad absurdam of the idea are considered. It is argued that God's timeless eternity in one way restricts his knowledge, though in no material respect, and in another way significantly enlarges it. Difference senses of immutability and of change are considered and a conceptual connection between one of these and timeless eternity is established.
