Abstract: This chapter presents a summary of the dimensions of work quality discussed in the preceding chapters. These include skill levels and skill trends, employer training, task discretion, work-family balance, and job insecurity. It then considers their implications for the contrasting arguments about the determinants of work quality discussed in Chapter 1.
